Abstract

Academic stress among students is a serious issue that can negatively affect various aspects, including academic performance, mental health, social relationships, and sleep patterns. This stress typically arises from high expectations related to academic achievement and excessive workload. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Alieni Ilahiyah Uzlah Ibnu Athaillah Therapy Strategy in addressing academic stress among students. The research methodology employed is qualitative with a case study approach, involving respondents selected through purposive sampling. The primary instrument utilized is a questionnaire, and data collection adhered to research ethics. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques. The results of the research indicate that the Alieni Ilahiyah Uzlah Ibnu Athaillah Therapy can be applied as a relevant therapeutic strategy for managing academic stress among students. This therapy integrates spiritual elements with the goal of strengthening and deepening individuals' connection with God. By applying the principles of uzlah and dzikir, students can effectively cope with academic stress. The research findings affirm that the Alieni Ilahiyah Uzlah Ibnu Athaillah Therapy is effective in addressing academic stress among students.
