- Guidelines for Manuscript Text
Manuscript title: Title should be informative and written briefly and clearly. Titles shouldn't have multiple interpretations. The title should be right on target with the issues to be discussed. The first word is written in capital letters and is symmetrical. The title of the article must not contain uncommon abbreviations. The main idea should be written down first, followed by an explanation. The title of the article must be written a maximum of sixteen words, with a font size of 20 pt, using bold letters, and a middle text format.
Abstract: This Abstract section should be typed using font Calibri with size 11 pt, and the word count is about 200-250 words. Specifically for this part, use 10 mm left and right margins. Single spaces should be used between lines in this article. If the article is written in Arabic, the abstract must be typed in Arabic and English. Meanwhile, if the article is written in English, the abstract should be typed in English and Indonesian. The abstract should be typed as short as possible and consist of: a statement of the problem, methods, results of scientific findings, and a brief conclusion. Abstracts can only be typed in one paragraph and formatted in one column. Keywords are at least 4 words and maximum 5 words using the Calibri11 font pt.
Introduction: The purpose of this section, as indicated by the word itself, is to provide the reader with an introductory background to the study and thus to lead the reader to a description of the methods used in this study. Therefore, the introduction should contain (briefly and sequentially) the general background of the problem the author is researching. The introduction should provide the reader with enough information to understand and consider the author's specific goals within a larger theoretical framework or broader relevant discussion. While placing this work in a broader context, the author should clearly state the position of this study among previous relevant studies in the literature review (current condition) as the basis of the new research question. In the format of a scientific article, it is not allowed to write references as in research reports. References must be included in the literature review to demonstrate the novelty of the scientific article. In addition, all background information gathered from other sources must of course be cited appropriately so that the novelty, originality, and current condition of the research are clearly known. At the end of the introduction, the purpose of writing the article should be stated as well as the underlying argument or hypothesis.
Method: Methods section contains enough information to allow the reader to understand what has been practically done. Avoid giving too long conceptual explanations of the meaning of a particular method, approach, or type of research. Instead, emphasize an explanation of how data is obtained, coded, and analyzed. It is also a space where the author, if necessary, can explain the reasons for choosing a particular theoretical framework for the research they are currently doing.
Results and Discussion: Results and discussions should be written in the same section and made aligned with the research question/research objectives in the subtitle number and writing flow. Both must be presented continuously from the main results to the supporting results and are complemented by further discussion. The discussion section should include basic principles ranging from analytical, implicit, interpretive, constructive, to comparative. Images, tables, and other visualizations (if any) should be placed in the same section and should be available for editing by editors. If the author provides a relevant image, make sure it is a high-resolution image. Although the results and the discussion are written in the same section, it should be clear between what the data show and how it relates to the broader discussion or the relevant current theoretical framework.
Conclusion: Instead of repeating any part of the Abstract or the Results and Discussion section, this section simply states what the author thinks the data implies and intends, and, as such, should relate directly back to the article's problem/question in relation to the broader discussion of the theme. The limitations of the current study as well as suggestions for further relevant research should also be mentioned here. This section should not offer any justification for such a particular conclusion—as it should have already been presented in the Discussion section. Just by looking at the Introduction and Conclusion sections, the reader should have a good idea of what the researcher has investigated, discovered, and contributed to although the specific details will not be immediately known.
Thank You: Writers can express their appreciation and gratitude for physical and moral assistance during the article writing process, from data collection to publication. This applies to both individuals and institutions, such as respondents or fund providers.
Library: Manuscript references must be up-to-date (at least the last 5 to 10 years). At a minimum, 30 references are used, 40% of which are from primary sources/leading academic journals that can be accessed by everyone. The author is responsible for ensuring that the information in each reference is complete and accurate. All references must be cited in the text; otherwise, the reference will be automatically deleted. Bibliography writing should use reference manager applications such as Mendeley by using 17th edition of the American Psychological Association .
