Pengaruh Keteladanan Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) Terhadap Sopan Santun Siswa Kelas VIII di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri 1 Pabuaran Cirebon

Abstract

This research is motivated by the behavior of students' manners which are shown in schools that are still not good. It is known that the teachers of SMP Negeri 1 Pabuaran, especially Islamic Religious Education teachers, have given examples such as words, deeds and good exemplary behavior for their students. However, there are some students who have not been able to imitate or imitate it. The purpose of this study was to determine the role model of Islamic Religious Education teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Pabuaran Cirebon, to determine the manners of students at SMP Negeri 1 Pabuaran Cirebon, to determine the effect of Islamic Religious Education teacher's example on the manners of class VIII students in SMP Negeri 1 Pabuaran Cirebon. This type of research is classified as field research. The approach used is quantitative correlation type. The research results are presented in descriptive and statistical form. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study indicate that tcount is 4.761 and it is known that ttable at a significance level of 0.05 is 1.694. Therefore, tcount > ttable i.e. 4.761 is greater than 1.694 then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, meaning that the hypothesis which states that there is a significant influence on the example of Islamic Religious Education teachers on the manners of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Pabuaran Cirebon is received.
