Abstract

In today's digital era, technological advances have had a major impact on many aspects of human life, including education. This research investigates the use of technology terms in group discussions about online learning. Understanding how students use technology terms when talking to each other is becoming increasingly important as online learning gains popularity. To gain a better understanding of technology terms, this research method uses a qualitative approach to analyze the content of group conversations that occur in an online learning environment. These conversations were collected from various online learning groups covering different levels of education. Interviews, document analysis, and observation of conversations with group participants were all methods used to collect data. The results show that technology terms are actively used in online learning group conversations. The use of these terms not only helps group members talk to each other, but also shows how well participants understand and engage in learning technology. These results provide insight into the extent to which technology is an important part of online learning and how technology terms can influence collaboration and interaction in learning groups. The article also discusses results relating to the design of more student-focused online learning. Students' digital identity and technological literacy can be linked to the use of technological terms in group discussions. Consequently, this research enhances our understanding of the role of technology terms in online learning and provides a basis for building better learning strategies that utilize technology.
